Can talent be the essence of suffering and pain?
Can talent be the essence of suffering and pain? This is not only the title of my blog but also a reflection on how many of us feel towards different situations they had to go through.
Can success be the essence of suffering ?

This is a true story based on real events.

The story starts in 1993, this young girl, just obtained her Baccaluareate and her dream was to become a doctor in order to help the humanity and relief people's pain.
The bureaucraties decided to kill her dream and sent her to the wrong university. This very brilliant pupil found herself in a big instituition where the teachers have never turned-up. She had to persevere like the rest of people in the same year, in order to pass her exams and graduate from this school.
Fatima, was 17 year old and had little experience in life. Fatima was revising on the bus, on the way home and untill 4 in the morning! She was exhausted by all this subjects thrown at them without any supervision. She, was self taught, like the others .
Unfortunately, when the exam results came-out, Fatima Failed! The shock was so bad that she did not go home that day. Fearing to tell her parents that she did not make it! Especially that both her sisters and brother have passed all their exams with disctinction.
Fatima, run in the corridor, screaming: I did not fail! I am not stupid! I never failed.. It was a schock for her and everyone who knew her! It was impossible.
Early morning, Fatima knocked at the door, her Mother who did not sleep all night, welcomed her in and asked her not to make noise as her father was still sleeping and he would kill both of them, if he found out she was not at home the night before!
So they both hugged and cried, without saying a word, her mother understood..
During Lunch time, when everyone was sitting around the table, Fatima was so agitated as if she was fearing the question.
In fact, the father asked: " So, you went to see your results yesterday! Then?"
At this tone, Fatima put her piece of bread on the table and looked at her Dad, the words were stuck on her throat, she was screaming inside: "I did not fail", but for her Dad she did. So a river of tears droped like a waterfall on top of her red-cheeks and to avoid more questions, she run to her bedroom.
Her mother followed her, knocking at her door but Fatima refused to open the door out of  fear of her father's reaction.
In the evening, Fatima's father came to her room and asked her to open the door as he had something important to say:'' Fatima, my darling, I know it's hard! I did see you work so hard the whole year! I believe that you always been top in your class? but this is university! so please don't harm yourself, because we are your parents and we love you! You can try next year! but if you kill yourself for this; you will lose your ending with Allah and we will lose Fatima!"
At those words, Fatima opened the door, she was devasted and jumped on her father asking to forgive her and that she will try her best for next time.
Unfortunately, things went so fast again, and Fatima failed the year after, it was really sad! This poor girl has suffered psychologically and lost coonfidence in herself.

After a carefull chat with the uncle who resided in the USA, Fatima's father decided to send her to study in New York.
It was amazing, this young girl took a plane to an unknown destination, as soon as she arrived her uncle took her to the nearest college to enroll and she started her undergraduate studies.
Fatima, slowly, slowly, found her confidence. The teachers were so supportive and impressed by her intelligence. Fatima came-up first in her first year and won the college price as an outstanding student, She was given a scholarship to join one of the most eminent Polytechnical school in the state. On her master's degree, Fatima has managed to impress two of the most difficult judges at the University by her outsdanding Electronic design and was granted a scholarship for a Phd.
Fatima is now mother of three children and a very succesfull Doctor in the Electronic Industry.
So if the question: Can success be the essence of  suffering? Fatima is a witness to the answer.
Dear Bloggers, please believe in your potentials and no matter what is happening or happened to you, please believe in yourself and keep your head-up. There is a door that closes and many others open!
Have a wonderfull day

Look forward to your future

Dear karima,
If I may comment on your latest posted subject " Can Success be the essence of suffering ?
the answer is Yes and No …!!!

Can Suffering be the essence of success ..?!
Yes and No …!!!!

What is success ..??!! what is suffering ..??!!

Such subject has been discussed by so many philosophers or writers .. and it is still going on ..!!!

what is Success ..? Is it achieving of a plan / any plan .. good or bad .. or is it the completion of anything intended ..??! or just finishing what you planned to do.?? Is Getting a higher education .. getting an executive position with higher salary .. can be success …?? (Good ).. Even Robbing a Bank is kind of success if that is what you wish to do...!!! (bad) . however , you probably did not intend to end up in prison ..!! In general , Success shines a light on failure and success.... Make a plan and follow it and you will have succeeded. Make a plan and do not follow it and you will have failed. At the end of the day we can say "I have failed" or "I have succeeded." If you ask someone what is success , big money, achieving your goals fulfilling your potential or just making others happy ??!!…. In the other hand what is suffering .. poverty .. hunger .. war .. ??!!

An old saying ( in general ) “ The basic thing is that everyone wants happiness, no one wants suffering. And happiness mainly comes from our own attitude, rather than from external factors. If your own mental attitude is correct, even if you remain in a hostile atmosphere, you feel happy” is it true ..??!! may be .. and may not …!!!

As a Muslim we believe in faith , Faith in destiny/divine decree , if we achieved the success we are grateful to Allah , even if we achieve suffering we are also grateful . acceptance of such faith is one of the essence of our deep believes in Allah.

My best regards... Khalid
